Auto closing of tags is always a great feature to have in our ColdFusion pages. ColdFusion Builder bring us some more additional options on enabling and disabling the Auto-close tags feature like in the below image and we can set this auto-close feature by selecting Preferences > ColdFusion > Editor Profiles > Editor >Typing.

Adobe has announced an important Security Bulletin for ColdFusion versions (9.0, 8.0.1, 8.0, and 7.0.2) yesterday. This update is for a vulnerability identified in BlazeDS 3.2 and its earlier versions.

Installing ColdFusion on Windows 7 with IIS 7

I have got some problems while installing ColdFusion 8 and configuring IIS7 on my Windows 7 machine. Luckily I got it solved immediately after reading the solution at the web about configuring IIS 7 to work with ColdFusion by Dale Fraser, Paul Kukiel and Sameer Gupta. I don't know why this problem is not yet taken care by Adobe and I heard even with ColdFusion 9 the problem is still exists. Let's hope Adobe will fix this issue with the upcoming ColdFusion 9 Update 1.
