Adobe has announced an important Security Bulletin for ColdFusion versions (9.0, 8.0.1, 8.0, and 7.0.2) yesterday. This update is for a vulnerability identified in BlazeDS 3.2 and its earlier versions.

I have got some problems while installing ColdFusion 8 and configuring IIS7 on my Windows 7 machine. Luckily I got it solved immediately after reading the solution at the web about configuring IIS 7 to work with ColdFusion by Dale Fraser, Paul Kukiel and Sameer Gupta. I don't know why this problem is not yet taken care by Adobe and I heard even with ColdFusion 9 the problem is still exists. Let's hope Adobe will fix this issue with the upcoming ColdFusion 9 Update 1.

Finally the wait is over for CF Community to grab ColdFusion 9. Yes Adobe announced the release of ColdFusion 9 and product is available for purchase. And also the ColdFusion Builder Beta 2 is released and available at Adobe Labs.

On Tuesday August 4th, I attended the Adobe Devsummit at Bangalore. This is my first experience at Adobe Devsummit and all I want to say is that the event was extremely awesome and amazing. There were more than 1200 peoples have attended the event, the event location and arrangements are extremely great. The event was powered by Ben Forta and Serge Jespers keynote presentations on about the Flash Platform tools, ColdFusion, Mobile platform with lots of Demos. There were fantastic sessions by Adobe Flash Platform, ColdFusion and Mobile Platform teams.
